Richard Murai made these wonderful photograhs at Ankor Wat. HIs brother, Pete, owned the Madison Street Press in Oakland. This calendar was a New Years present for their customers. The purpose of the calendar was to show off the photographs. The type is designed to be non-intrusive. I have placed a few of the pages below. Click on the first image to get a pdf.

Richard was kind enough to give me a gift of this image which hangs in my dining room.

This last image is most interesting. The woman was 84 years old, she made her own living, about 6 cents a day, by harvesting snails. She los her t husband and sons to Pol Pot brutality. When asked where she lived, she pointed backwards. Richard felt sad for her to live in the house in the background but it turned out she lived in the boat in the midground. Everything she owned was in the boat.
